BG&G Enterprises (BGGE) (bgge.com)
Sharing and Usage
We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you sending you emails or newsletters based on your request for information and contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing a product or service order only to complete that order. (See BGGE Gift Shop Policies.) We may disclose user information, at our discretion, to legal authorities when we have reason to believe that someone is causing injury to or interference with our rights or property, other BGGE site users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
How We Protect Your Privacy
We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. The security of your information, transactions, and money via our shopping cart or payment buttons is the core of VeriSign and PayPal. They automatically encrypt your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
Our Commitment To Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never knowingly collect or maintain information at our website from those who are under 13.
If you are under the age of 13 (12 or younger), you may not provide any information about yourself to this website. While you may view content on the site, you may not register with the site, enter any of our sweepstakes or contests, or participate in any of our chat rooms, bulletin boards or other activities that would let you enter information about yourself. If we learn that you have provided information about yourself to this site, we will delete such information.
BG&G Enterprises will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from kids under 13. If you have any concerns about this site or its related services, wish to find out if your child is a member of one of our services, or wish to cancel your child's membership (13 or over), please contact us.
A "cookie" is a piece of information that our website sends to your browser, which then stores this information on your system. At BGGE, cookies are used 1) to "remember" information about you and your preferences until you exit your current browser window (temporary cookies) or until you disable or delete the cookie and 2) to collect statistical data to track where you travel on the website and what you look at. This information lets us give you the services you want that are connected with your interests. You may occasionally get cookies from our advertisers which are sent from their computers, and are subject to such third parties' policies.
You should be aware that cookies contain no more information than you volunteer, and they are not able to "invade" your hard drive and return to the sender personal or other information from your computer. Most web browsers can be set to inform you when a cookie has been sent to you and provide you with the opportunity to refuse that cookie. Refusing a cookie will not interfere with your use of a BG&G Enterprises' website.
Our server automatically collects data about your server's domain address when you visit us. This information, known as an Internet Protocol address or IP Address, is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider whenever you're on the Web.
BGGE uses your IP address to gather broad demographic information, such as country of origin, Internet Service Provider, the referring page that linked you to us, etc. Our server cannot automatically record your name or address. However, in the event of abusive activity, your IP address will be permanently banned and reported to the proper authorities.
Why did you receive an email from us?
At the time you are requested to provide personal Information on BGGE's website, you will automatically be placed in our newsletter database. However, our email marketing is permission based.
If you received a mailing from us, our records indicate that (a) you have expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings. However, you will be able to "opt-out" of future promotional or informational material.
Please note, hackers have been known to "highjack" a website's email account to send spam. If you believe you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please contact us for instructions on how to forward a copy of that email.
Right to "Opt-Out"
BG&G Enterprises has a NO SPAM policy. Each email sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving promotional emails from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the unsubscribe or Update Profile links in any email.
Use of Web Beacons
When we send you newsletter emails, our contracted service provider, MailChimp, may include a web beacon to allow us to determine the number of people who open our emails. When you click on a link in an email, we may record this individual response to allow us to customize our offerings to you. Web beacons collect only limited information, such as a cookie identifier, time and date of a page being viewed, and a description of the page on which the Web Beacon resides (the URL).
Web Beacons can be refused when delivered via email. If you do not wish to receive Web Beacons via email, you will need to disable HTML images or refuse HTML (select Text only) emails via your email software.
If you have an account with BGGE, we may need to contact you - even if you have opted out of our newsletter. So add us to your safe list. If you contact BG&G Enterprises by e-mail, you should be aware that e-mail transmission might not be secure. Never send sensitive or financial information by e-mail. BG&G Enterprises has no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors or unauthorized acts of third parties during transmission.
Links to Other Sites
When you are on a BG&G Enterprises page, you will have the opportunity to visit or link to other sites not operated by us. BGGE does not control sites that are operated by others and is not responsible for their privacy practices, privacy statements, or content.

We will take reasonable steps to protect the security and integrity of all personal information provided at BG&G Enterprise's website. However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle, we cannot guarantee that this information will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers. Please contact us if you suspect that your personal information has been compromised or to report anyone who you suspect has violated our private policy. BG&G Enterprises will investigate, and if necessary, take legal action to prevent or halt any violation of our Privacy Policies.
In the event that BG&G Enterprises or substantially all of its assets are acquired by one or more third parties as a result of a merger, sale, consolidation or liquidation, customer personal information may be one of the transferred assets.
