  • What are your business hours? My hours and days are flexible. Locally, I operate a pick-up & drop-off service by appointment only. Online, I am available 24/7 and offer several electronic options for submitting and receiving documents.

Why do you use so many banners at your site & in your newsletters? Although BG&G Enterprises has two main income generating channels - gift shop & custom business services, most visitors come to the site to take advantage of our free services like resume and job help center, ecards, free website promotion tools, etc. However, hosting & advertising fees still have to be paid. By taking advantage of our sponsors' offers, including FREE trials, you help keep these personal & business resources FREE.

Why do you ask for donations or tips? While it may not be within the realm of proper etiquette for webmasters to ask for a donation, tip, or gratuity, BGGE is primarily a service industry site. Hundreds of hours are spent each month locating and/or rejecting free and low cost products, services, & resources. To evaluate for quality, we sometimes test, but always explore the fine print of our sponsors' offers and link partners' sites. In return, we ask our visitors to click one of our sponsor's banner or text link or or donate a dollar or two to help off-set our hosting fees. When we are contracted to do web design, bookkeeping, or income tax preparation, we go the extra mile to ensure that the work is professional & accurate. A tip here and there keep our fees low. Regardless, donations, tips & gratuities are voluntary.

Why do you have so many links in your navigation menu?

BG&G Enterprises is a mega site with multi-channels & multi-subchannels.  We value our visitors time, and want them to find what they are looking for quickly, without always having to perform a search.

What are my online payment options? You can pay by credit/debit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express), PayPal funds, & E-checks. Online payments are processed by Paypal, but you do not have to have a Paypal account to make a payment.

I placed an order with you and it was declined because Address Verification System (AVS) has failed to confirm my information. However, I still see the charges on my account statement. How do I get my money back? Actually, your Credit Card has not been charged if it was declined. However, some Banks (your bank...as it has nothing to do with our bank or credit card processing procedures) place a hold on funds when an authorization is requested even though they have declined the charge. This apparently happens more often with ATM / Debit Cards. The funds are then released again after a few days, when the bank realizes that actually no charge was placed. It is important to note that when the AVS filter declines a transaction as the result of an AVS mismatch, the transaction is voided, but the authorization remains. The preauthorized amount reserved against the credit limit of the customer's card will remain for a predefined period of time until it is expired by the card issuer. (See your Merchant Service Provider for the exact length of this period.) This means that the amount is being held aside within the customer's account and may make their available balance show the amount deducted. This problem only occurs when you enter the incorrect Billing address for your purchase as it does not match the credit card's billing address. Usually, it takes about 3-4 business days for most banks to drop the authorization. For more information, please contact your credit card issuer.
